Dr Ojigbani is a graduate of university of Nigeria, after which he worked for the NHS in London . This is where he gathered his wide ranging experience in managing mental health problems, having worked in the adult and liaison services.
He then moved to Brighton, where he continued his work in adult psychiatry before delving into old age psychiatry which he continued with in Scotland in 2005.
He joined the Northumbria vocational training scheme in 2006 . This was a pivotal point in his dream of becoming a complete doctor, who would look after the whole family.
As part of the training, he became grounded in palliative care having trained at St Benedict’s hospice. This was a humbling period but which led to his improved understanding and knowledge of the practicalities of providing excellent care for people who are in the last days of their lives.
He also had a long stint at the Newcastle diabetes centre where he acquired indelible experience on the primary care management of diabetes mellitus .
His paediatric job at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead seemed to be the best as it made him consolidate his long term interest in looking after children.
He has since worked as a consultant family physician.
Dr Ojigbani is also a GP appraiser for the region.
Dr Ojigbani has watched the gap in healthcare delivery in the Lekki phase 2 / Ajah axis for a long time and this led to the establishment of Priscilla specialist.

Anthony Owa is a Consultant ENT Surgeon and Neuro-otologist at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital. He specialises in Otolaryngology, ear surgery (including endoscopic ear surgery), rhinology, ENT in children and adults. He is the designer of the “Owa grommet” – a tiny ventilation tube for the treatment of glue ear (middle ear disease).
After qualifying in medicine at the University of Benin, Nigeria, Mr Owa trained in both London and Cambridge, before joining the North Thames Oto-laryngology specialist training programme in 1997. He later completed a fellowship in Utah, USA, for which he was awarded the American Neuro-otology Society Fellows Award for 2002.
Mr Owa subsequently joined Barking, Havering and Redbridge University NHS Trust in 2003 as an ENT surgeon and Neuro-otologist offering a wide range of surgery, including specialised otology and lateral skull base surgery. He was made a fellow of the West Africa College of Surgeons for his work training ENT surgeons and charity surgical missions. In 2017 he obtained an MSc in medical otology and audiology and spent time offering consultant audiovestibular consultant support to Wood Street childhood hearing centre. He is now in full time private practice having left the NHS in 2019

Dr Ben Okafor completed his MBBS at St Bartholomew’s Medical School, London University, and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons England in 1992. He has also undertaken fellowships in orthopaedic and spine surgery in various centres in Europe and the USA. Dr Okafor’s main areas of interest include complex spinal surgery, spinal fusions, lumbar spine diseases and disorders, sciatica, spinal deformity, upper and lower back pain, and spine tumours. Dr Okafor is an honorary senior lecturer at St Bartholomew’s Medical School London. He has published many peer-reviewed publications on his main areas of research interest, including functional assessment following spinal surgery, non-fusion technology for spinal surgery, spinal injections, and interbody spinal fusions. He is also licensed to practice in Nigeria and has been consulting and operating for several years in collaboration with colleagues.
