Consultant family physician With special interests in child health and mental health.
MBBS ( Nigeria), MRCGP(Uk)

Dr Ojigbani is a graduate of university of Nigeria, after which he worked for the NHS in London . This is where he gathered his wide ranging experience in managing mental health problems, having worked in the adult and liaison services.

He then moved to Brighton, where he continued his work in adult psychiatry before delving into old age psychiatry which he continued with in Scotland in 2005.

He joined the Northumbria vocational training scheme in 2006 . This was a pivotal point in his dream of becoming a complete doctor, who would look after the whole family.

As part of the training, he became grounded in palliative care having trained at St Benedictโ€™s hospice. This was a humbling period but which led to his improved understanding and knowledge of the practicalities of providing excellent care for people who are in the last days of their lives.

He also had a long stint at the Newcastle diabetes centre where he acquired indelible experience on the primary care management of diabetes mellitus .

His paediatric job at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead seemed to be the best as it made him consolidate his long term interest in looking after children.

He has since worked as a consultant family physician.

Dr Ojigbani is also a GP appraiser for the region.

Dr Ojigbani has watched the gap in healthcare delivery in the Lekki phase 2 / Ajah axis for a long time and this led to the establishment of Priscilla specialist.
